Meet the Team

Charles Pryor (currently just me!) founded Rhizome Gardens in 2023. Charles comes from a multidisciplinary background having studied Fine Art and more recently an MSc in Climate Change. Charles' passion for facilitating ecological gardens comes from his experience working in Permaculture - a "design framework for the building of resilient, regenerative and abundant, human-supporting landscapes, both physical (Earth care) and hidden (People care), that mirror natural ecosystems through sharing of the abundance (Fair share)". He is passionate about working with nature to support its abundance and believes that gardens play a crucial role in boosting local biodiversity while enhancing our well-being.
